Box Score 2 TUCSON, ARIZ. – The University of Hartford softball team opened their Spring Break trip at the Tucson Invitational Games by splitting a pair of games, falling to Whittier and beating Salve Regina.

The middle of the Hartford order provided nearly all of the offensive damage, going 8-for-8 with seven runs scored and nine RBI as the Hawks came back for the one-run victory.
Freshman
Adelie Beebe was 2-for-2 with a double, triple, one run scored, and a career-high five RBI – the latter of which was the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Junior
Olivia Wolk and graduate
Mara Sczecienski were both 3-for-3 with a walk, three runs scored, and two RBI. Sczecienski had a double and a triple.
After Salve Regina took the lead with a five-run sixth inning, Hartford immediately responded in the bottom portion of the frame.
Wolk started the festivities with a one-out single and scored on a Sczecienski triple, and Sczecienski crossed with the go-ahead run via a sacrifice fly by Beebe.
Hartford took the lead with a pair of runs in the first, but the Seahawks scored twice in the second and third innings to take the lead. The Hawks had another quick response with four in the third and two more in the fourth.
Freshman
Alexis Sealey (2-0) earned the win in relief, allowing five runs on just three hits in three innings. Freshman Alex Hasset picked up her second career save, hurling a scoreless seventh.

- Hartford has registered a save in all three wins.
- Sczecienski and Wolk recorded stolen bases, and now the Hawks are 6-of-6 in stolen base attempts this season.
- Sczecienski now had four career games with at least three hits. She has multiple hits in every game this season.
