WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On January 24th, the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) announced its Division III All-New England teams with graduate students
Imani Jenkins (Middletown, Conn.),
Christina Stone (Glastonbury, Conn.) and
May Cervone (Milford, Conn.) each being selected to represent the University of Hartford.
Jenkins was named as a First Team selection to cap off her Hawk career. Jenkins ended the year with 27 goals, 11 assists and six game-winners in 20 games played this season. She was named the Conference of New England (CNE) Offensive Player of the Year, CNE All-Conference First Team, All-ECAC First Team, College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American, United Soccer Coaches All-Region, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American and United Soccer Coaches All-American in 2024. Imani ends her career with a program-record 194 points on a program-record 80 goals to go with 34 assists in 68 games played.
Stone was chosen as a Second Team member after ending 2024 with 10 goals, 25 assists and four game-winners in 21 games started for Hartford. Christina also won numerous awards this season being named CNE Scholar Athlete of the Year, CNE Elite 20 Award for Women's Soccer, CNE First Team All-Conference, All-ECAC First Team, CSC Academic All-American, United Soccer Coaches All-Region, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American and United Soccer Coaches All-American. Stone ends her Hartford career with 90 points on 20 goals and a program-record 50 assists in 69 games played.
Cervone rounded out the Hawks that were selected being named to the Third Team. May ended 2024 starting all 21 games with three goals and 10 assists on the year including a game-winner from the right back position. She was later named to the CNE Second Team All-Conference as well as the CSC Academic All-District team. Cervone ends her Hartford career with 33 points on nine goals and 15 assists in 66 total games.
