WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District soccer teams were announced with two members of the Hartford men's soccer team featured.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® and Academic All-District® Teams program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. To be considered for inclusion on the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® Men's Soccer Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in at least 90 percent of the institution's contests or started in at least 66 percent of those contests.
The two Hawks making the list were senior
Nick Castrovinci (Roxbury, N.J.) and junior
Austin Murawski (Rocky Hill, Conn.).
Murawski will also be in consideration for Academic All-America after being selected to as a finalist.
Castrovinci made 13 starts in 2025 with 16 appearances overall. Nick ended the year with a goal and an assist including a game-winner with 992 minutes played.
Murawski started 16 games with 18 overall appearances in 2025. Austin ended the year with 26 points on nine goals and eight assists with four game-winners in 1355 minutes. Murawski was later named to the Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference First Team.
