Murawski Headlines Four Hawks on CNE Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Thursday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its men's soccer major award winners and all-conference teams with Hartford men's soccer seeing four members selected. 

Junior Austin Murawski (Rocky Hill, Conn.) headlines the list of Hawks being named to the All-Conference First Team. Sophomore Brayden Tahiliani (Whitby, Ontario) was named to the CNE All-Conference Second Team, while senior Ryan Lunn (Southington, Conn.) was awarded a All-Conference Third Team selection. Senior Jayden Castro (Stratford, Conn.) rounded out the Hawks making the Community Service Team. 

Murawski had a stellar junior season for Hartford with 26 points in his second year as a Hawk. Austin ended the year with 16 games started, nine goals, eight assists, four game-winners and 1,355 minutes on the pitch. In conference play, Murawski found his form scoring eight goals while dishing out six assists. Murawski was a CNE Offensive Player of the Week back on October 14th and was a CNE Third Team All-Conference selection in 2024. 

Tahiliani was named to the CNE All-Conference Second Team for the second-straight year as the Hawks top center back. Brayden started in all 17 games he played in for Hartford on the season playing a team-high 1,532 minutes. Tahiliani scored three goals in 2025, while also being a part of seven shutouts on defense. 

Lunn ends his senior season named to the CNE All-Conference Third Team. Ryan started 13 games for the Hawks in 2025, finishing the year with a record of 8-3-2. Lunn made 54 saves this season with a goals against average of 0.92 and a save percentage of 81.8%. Ryan had six clean sheets in his final year and was a CNE Defensive Player of the Week on September 8th. 

Castro rounded out the Hawks being named to the CNE Community Service Team. Jayden is currently the co-president of Hartford SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) and also helped create the Morgan's Message soccer games this season. On the field Castro played in 15 games with six starts, playing 567 minutes.

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 11 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 21 intercollegiate sports.
