BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly report with freshman Lucy Lembo (Albany, N.Y.) being named the softball rookie of the week.

Lembo went 4-for-13 for the Hawks at the plate with an inside the park home run, five runs scored, five RBIs and two stolen bags. Lucy had a huge game in the second contest in the Space Coast Spring Games against Webster College going 3-for-4, with the three-run inside the parker and two runs scored. 

Lembo and the Hawks continue the week in Florida with four more games in the Space Coast Spring Games before returning home with a double header on Sunday at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
