OCEANSIDE, N.Y. The Hartford Women's golf team traveled to the empire state to play in the Adelhpi Panther Battle at the Bay, a two-day, two-round tournament that took place over Monday, Apr. 21 and Tuesday Apr. 22. The Hawks would plcae sixth out of six teams.

- Groups began teeing off on Monday at 9AM, for the Hawks junior Charlee Nagle (Cheshire, Conn.) finished in the top spot, placing 24th overall, shooting a 96 in the first round and a 88 in the second (+40). Freshman Gabby DeBenedetto (Southbury, Conn.) finished in 27th place, shooting a 95 in the both rounds (+46). Sophomore Abigail Crabtree (Bellport, N.Y.) finished in 29th place, shooting a 107 in the first round and a 90 in the second round (+53). Senior Tessa Susco (Plainville, Conn.) finished in 31st place shooting a 105 in the first round and a 99 in the second round (+60). Junior Julia Smith (Plainville, Conn.) also finished in 31st place shooting a 102 in both rounds (+60).Â

Hartford will host their final tournament of the season next weekend, as the Hartford Spring Women's Invitational, will take place at Keeney Park Golf Club in Windsor, Conn.
