WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Thursday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its women's lacrosse all-conference teams with four members of the University of Hartford named.
Sophomore Madison Olmstead (Wolcott, Conn.) was the lone athlete to be named First Team All-Conference. Senior Meghan Smith (Orange, Conn.) and junior Samantha Ciaglo (Colchester, Conn.) both received All-Conference Second Team honors, and sophomore Emily Campbell was named to the CNE Community Service Team.
Olmstead made the CNE All-Conference First Team and led the CNE in points this past season with 101 in just one season. Olmstead was also second in the CNE in goals and assists with 71 goals and 30 assists this season. Olmstead took home CNE Player of the Week twice this season.
Smith made the CNE All-Conference Second Team and finished third in the CNE in points with 89. She also finished fourth in the CNE in goals with 69 goals this season. Smith became the first player in Hartford history to reach 100 career points in 2025.
Ciaglo made the CNE All-Conference Second Team and was a key contributor on defense for the Hawks this season. The Hawks captain finished the season with 42 ground balls and a team-leading 20 caused turnovers.
Campbell finished the year on the CNE Community Service Team. The sophomore had a solid end to her season, finishing the year with 17 saves and a .486 save percentage.
