Storrs, CT - The University of Hartford men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Connecticut Huskies on Tuesday afternoon in Storrs. The Hawks are now 0-2 on the season and will next play at the UConn Invitational on September 26-28.

In doubles play the Hawks Rich Lieberman and Will White, playing in the second doubles position, put up the toughest fight, falling by an 8-4 margin to Joey Michaels and Scott Warden.

The Hawks top three singles players led the team. Playing at number one doubles, Ricky Dove dropped his match to Joe Goldstein by a pair of 6-4 sets. Aneil Bhalla fell at number two singles by identical sets of 6-3, while Lieberman forced an extra point before he fell to Ben Schueler by scores of 6-1 and 7-5.
