West Hartford, Conn. -The University of Hartford men's tennis team hosted in-state rival Connecticut Monday afternoon for a dual match, dropping a 7-0 decision to the Huskies.

Senior Aneil Bhalla won his first set, 6-2, against UConn's Jai Yoon in the No. 2 singles spot. However, Yoon came back to win the final two sets, 6-3, 6-3. Junior Josh Isaacson took his match against Peter Surovic to three sets. Isaacson, playing out of the fourth position, dropped the first set, 6-4. However, he fought back to force a third set before falling, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0.

In doubles action, Hartford's top duo, Bhalla and junior Marco Neves, fell in an 8-5 match against Scott Warden and Jacob Spreyer.

The Hawks return to the court at the Quinnipiac Invitational in Hamden, Conn., Oct. 7-9.
