Baseball's Game with Rhode Island Called Due to Rain

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The final home game of the Hartford baseball season was called due to rain on Tuesday afternoon, as the Hawks and Rhode Island Rams got in a little less than an inning of baseball before the skies opened and an already-wet Fiondella Field was rendered unplayable. Hartford was leading 1-0 at the time of the stoppage, with two runners on and one out in the bottom of the first inning. A makeup date for the game is not expected to be announced.
