BEVERLY, Mass. - On Wednesday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its baseball major award winners and all-conference teams with nine members from the Hartford baseball team selected.
The Hawks had two 1st Team All-Conference selections in senior
Michael Featherstone (Ramsey, N.J.) and senior
Jeremy Mangiameli (Middlefield, Conn.).
Featherstone ends his Hawk career with a 1st Team selection after finishing last season on the 2nd Team All-Conference. Michael ended the year with a 2.84 ERA across 11 appearances and 25.1 innings pitched. Featherstone picked up 32 strikeouts over the course of his 11 games with four saves and a 1-1 record. Featherstone was also named to the CNE Community Service Team.
Mangiameli also makes his second all-conference team selection in his career after being on the 3rd Team in 2025. Jeremy ended his senior campaign slashing .357/.449/.548 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with four home runs, 10 doubles, 33 RBIs and 32 runs scored. Defensively the third baseman had 21 putouts and 67 assists.
Senior
Jackson Ciccone (Danbury, Conn.), junior
Anthony Bubba (Jefferson, N.J.) and junior
Alek Popovich (Dudley, Mass.) were the three Hawks named to the 2nd Team All-Conference.
Ciccone is named to his second consecutive 2nd Team All-Conference selection. Jackson had a .359/.427/.508 slash line with two homers, nine doubles, two triples, 28 RBIs and 27 runs scored. Ciccone also stole 10 bags in 2026 in 11 attempts. Defensively Jackson had 64 putouts out of 65 attempts.
Bubba was named to the 2nd Team All-Conference team after going 8-2 in 2026 with 68.1 innings pitched and 10 official starts. Anthony had three complete games with a 3.42 ERA and 63 strikeouts. Bubba also had an opponent batting average of .214 this season.
Popovich was named to his first All-Conference selection after a breakout junior season. Alek ended the year slashed .331/.378/.526 with four homers, 12 doubles a triple, 30 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Popovich added 45 putouts in the field.
Four Hawks were named to the 3rd Team All-Conference Team in senior
Joe Dooley (West Hartford, Conn.), senior
Cameron Boardman (Daegu, South Korea), senior
John Russell (Eastchester, N.Y.) and junior
Julian Rondon (West Nyack, N.Y.).
Dooley finished his senior season with a 4-2 record across 10 starts and 45.2 innings pitched. Joe ended with a 2.17 ERA with 28 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .262.
Boardman slashed .267/.449/.395 in his senior season with two homers, three doubles, a triple, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Cameron had 205 putouts defensively with 17 assists and 12 runners caught stealing.
Russell ended the year with a .338/.400/.585 slash line with three long balls, seven doubles, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Behind the plate John had 67 putouts and seven assists with six runners caught stealing. He held a 1.000% fielding percentage in 2026.
Rondon was the final member from the Hawks to be selected with a 2-0 record with three saves across 27.2 innings. Julian ended with a 3.90 ERA and 52 strikeouts in his 14 appearances.
