Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Hartford women's lacrosse put away a string of three goals in the last eight minutes, but couldn't close the deficit, dropping an 18-4 decision to Yale on the road. The Hawks fall to 0-4 on the season while the Bulldogs improve to 2-1.

The Bulldogs came out of the gate hot, leading the Hawks 13-0 going into halftime. Senior
Billy McLaughlin put the Hawks on the board early in the second half with an assist from sophomore
Kylyn Marshall. Yale tacked on five more goals to put the game out of reach before Hartford put three goals away with eight minutes left in the game to make it 18-4.Â

- Emma Privitera had 17 saves in net, averaging a save percentage of 48.6 percent to best Yale's goalie, Clare Boone, who sat at 20 percent.
- Sophomore Debbie Phillips led the Hawks with two points off of one goal and one assist.
- Phillips had a hand in each of the last two goals of the game, increasing her season point total to four.
- Also scoring for Hartford were rookies Jessica Harrison and Raegan Dodson.
- Oliva Penoyer fueled Yale's offense with a game-best five points, scoring three times while adding two assists.
