Box Score LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Hartford women's lacrosse took the first lead of the game with an early goal by Kaitlyn D'Andrea, but couldn't hold off Siena, who took a 22-5 victory over the Hawks. Hartford drops to 0-8 on the season, while the Saints improve to 3-3.
 
SIENA 22, HARTFORD 5
D'Andrea scored the first goal of the game, putting the Hawks on the board early, but the Saints responded with a string of eight goals to claim the final lead. With 11:11 remaining in the first half, sophomore Elena Hynes netted her first two career goals within 47 seconds of one another before senior Billy McLaughlin put another one in the back of the net with an assist from sophomore Rosie Sconzo. The Saints tacked on six more goals in the first half to take a 14-4 lead, putting the game out of reach. D'Andrea scored one more time in the second half to give the Hawks five points on the game.

• The Hawks and Saints each had 14 draw controls, including a game-high six from McLaughlin
• Sophomore goalie Cassidy Hock recorded 10 saves to Siena's seven

• The contest was close to home for head coach Meg Decker, as she and Siena's head coach, Abigail Rehfuss, both played lacrosse together at Loyola before moving on to play pro with the Boston Storm and Philly Force together
