WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Wednesday, Hartford women's lacrosse head coach Jen Fallon announced the addition of Liney Dutchyshyn as an assistant coach for the Hartford Women's Lacrosse program.
 

"I'm incredibly excited to welcome Liney to Hartford," said Fallon. "Her experience as a player at a highly respected program like Ithaca, including multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, along with her coaching experience at both the high school and club levels, will bring a lot to our program. Most importantly, Liney brings an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm, and I'm excited to see how she connects with and impacts our players."
 

Dutchyshyn joins the Hawks after serving as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, Conn., since March 2026. During her time at Sacred Heart Academy, Dutchyshyn has worked closely with the head coach on practices, game preparation, film sessions, communication, culture and program development, with a primary focus on the defensive unit.
 

"I'm very excited to be joining Hartford and beginning in my first collegiate coaching role," said Dutchyshyn. "I'm looking forward to getting to know the team, building relationships with the players and staff, and getting started!"
 

In addition to her role at Sacred Heart Academy, Dutchyshyn currently served as the head coach of the 2029 team at Team CT Lacrosse Club. In that role, she developed practice plans focused on fundamental skills and higher-level lacrosse IQ, while implementing defensive sets and a faster-paced style of play. 

Prior to beginning her coaching career, Dutchyshyn was a four-year member of the Ithaca College women's lacrosse team from 2020-2024. As a member of the nationally ranked Bombers, Dutchyshyn helped lead Ithaca to its first Liberty League Championship in 2024, as well as multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including the quarterfinals in 2021 and the third round in 2022 and 2024.

Dutchyshyn graduated from Ithaca College in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Communications, majoring in Television and Digital Media Production with a minor in Legal Studies.
