Box Score DURHAM, N.H. – The Hawks came back with five goals in the second half, but it wasn't enough to close the deficit to New Hampshire on Saturday. The Wildcats came away with a 16-6 victory, improving to 2-0 in the America East.
NEW HAMPSHIRE 16, HARTFORD 6
New Hampshire came out of the gate hot, scoring the first seven goals of the game before sophomore
Melissa Gratwicke put Hartford on the board at 11:25. The Wildcats scored four more times in the first half, leading 11-1 after the first 30 minutes. Gratwicke was the first to strike in the second half, giving the Hawks some momentum to score four more times in the second half. Rookie
Lily Belle Baker led the charge, scoring a hat trick in the last 18 minutes of the game. Senior
Billy McLaughlin also put one in the back of the net.
