Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Hartford baseball dropped game one of its three-game series with Lipscomb, 7-0, Friday evening.

Zachary Ardito registered to hits, as the Hawks fell to 0-7 on the year. Senior Chris Kachmar pitched six innings of one-hit ball, as the Bison improves to 6-6 on the season.
LIPSCOMB 7 HARTFORD 0
Neither team could find a run through five innings until Lipscomb broke through with a run in the bottom of the fifth on a RBI double by sophomore Maddux Houghton. The added another run in the bottom of the sixth to push its lead to 2-0.

Eric Bonkowski both reached base to put runners on first and third with one out. The Hawks however could not capitalize on the situation and Lipscomb added five more runs for the 7-0 victory.
NEWS AND NOTES
- Dombkowski (0-2) had another strong start, as he pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits and struck out nine. The reigning America East Pitcher of the Week currently leads the conference with 22 strikeouts on the season
- Ardito was the only Hartford player to register a hit, going 2-4 with a pair of singles.
- The Hawks, even with only two hits, managed to get leave nine runners on base
