Jessica Harrison helped the Hawks earn the first lead of the game, netting a goal at 22:18. The Bobcats fired back with eight back-to-back goals to gain a demanding 8-1 lead coming out of the first half. Hartford came out of the gate hot in the second half, scoring three of the first five goals to bring the score to 10-4. The Bearcats sent seven more to the back of the net before sophomore
Debbie Phillips got the last word in, scoring with 2:50 remaining.
