LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Recent men's lacrosse graduate Dylan Jinks was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Warrior and New Balance Division I Scholar All-American.
 
A four-year midfielder, Jinks becomes the third Hawk in program history to garner Scholar All-America honors, joining Chris Duffy (2017) and Tate Klidonas (2014). The academic award is the third for him this postseason, as he has also earned spots on the America East All-Academic Team and the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-New England Team. 
 
In addition, Jinks is just one of two players from the America East to garner be named a Scholar All-American, joining UMass Lowell's Grant Lardieri.
 
Jinks graduated last May from the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions as a radiologic technology major. An eight-time Dean's List honoree, he has also earned America East Academic Honor Roll distinction in each of his final two seasons, including Commissioner's Honor Roll status in 2019.
 
In addition to the academic honors, Jinks received All-Conference distinction from the America East three times during his career. Capping off his career by earning Second Team All-Conference accolades, he was named the 2016 America East Rookie of the Year in addition to earning a spot on the All-Rookie Team that season.
 
Jinks was the leader of Hartford's offense this past season, tallying 58 points behind the strength of a career-high 37 goals. Becoming the 11th player in program history to score 100 career goals, he closed out his career ranked in the top-10 in assists (5th – 73), points (7th – 176) and goals (10th – 103).
