WORCESTER, Mass. – Hartford women's lacrosse continues non-conference action on Saturday with a road trip to Holy Cross. Start time from Kuzniewski Field is set for 1 p.m.

• Having played its inaugural campaign in 2018, Hartford is currently in its third season under head coach Meg Decker
• Junior Kaitlyn D'Andrea netted her first career hat trick against Yale on Tuesday and leads the team with seven goals this season
• Classmate Birdie Montes has scored at least one goal in each game and ranks No. 2 on the squad with five goals
• Freshman midfielder Shannon Tuozzo has gotten her collegiate career off to a solid start, ranking No. 2 in points (6) while leading the team in draw controls (22)
• Averaging 5.5 draw controls per game, Tuozzo is ranked No. 2 in the America East and No. 37 in the nation in the category
• Junior attack Megan Miller, who tripled her point production from her freshman to sophomore year with program records in points (31), goals (20) and assists (11), has two goals and three assists this season

• D'Andrea and Vazquez each netted their first career hat tricks as Hartford dropped a 17-10 decision to visiting Yale on Tuesday
• Facing a 9-3 deficit in the first half, the Hawks kept pace with the Bulldogs in the second with seven goals to Yale's eight
• Hartford went 17-of-29 in draw controls, led by eight from Tuozzo

 
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS

• Averaging 11.5 goals per game, Holy Cross suffered its first loss of the season this past weekend with a 13-7 setback at Siena
• During their season-opening win streak the Crusaders posted an average margin of victory of 8.33 goals against Fairfield, UMass Lowell and Central Connecticut
• Jolie Creo leads the team in goals (14), points (16), shots (28), and ranks second in draw controls (11)
• Grace Fink ranks No. 3 in the nation in save percentage (.635), No. 9 in saves per game (11.8) and No. 10 in goals-against average (7.71) to anchor a Holy Cross defense that leads the nation in save percentage

 
SERIES HISTORY 
HOLY CROSS LEADS, 1-0

• Miller netted a hat trick and D'Andrea added a pair of goals, but Hartford fell at Holy Cross in the inaugural meeting between the two teams, 21-9, on Al-Marzook Field last March
• Saturday's game marks the Hawks' second against a Patriot League opponent this season, as they hosted Army West Point in a home tilt earlier this month
• Hartford seeks its first win against a Patriot League opponent, having faced Holy Cross and Boston University in 2019 and Army twice
