Women's Lacrosse Hits the Road for Holy Cross on Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. – Hartford women's lacrosse continues non-conference action on Saturday with a road trip to Holy Cross. Start time from Kuzniewski Field is set for 1 p.m.

  • Having played its inaugural campaign in 2018, Hartford is currently in its third season under head coach Meg Decker
  • Junior Kaitlyn D'Andrea netted her first career hat trick against Yale on Tuesday and leads the team with seven goals this season

  • Facing a 9-3 deficit in the first half, the Hawks kept pace with the Bulldogs in the second with seven goals to Yale's eight

  • Miller netted a hat trick and D'Andrea added a pair of goals, but Hartford fell at Holy Cross in the inaugural meeting between the two teams, 21-9, on Al-Marzook Field last March
  • Saturday's game marks the Hawks' second against a Patriot League opponent this season, as they hosted Army West Point in a home tilt earlier this month
