WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Hartford baseball team's head coach Steve Malinowski has announced the schedule for the 2022 season. The Hawks will play 53 games, including 10 series at Fiondella Field. Hartford's non-conference slate features five teams that played in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The 2022 America East Schedule now consists of teams playing three individual games across the span of three days.

The Hawks' 2022 campaign features three games at Dunkin' Donuts Park in downtown Hartford. Hartford will play Stony Brook (April 2) in the lone America East Conference game in the ballpark. The team will also battle with Army (April 13) and Merrimack (May 17) at Dunkin' Donuts Park this season.
 
The Hawks will open the 2022 campaign with 11 consecutive road games, beginning with a three-game trip to Clemson (Feb. 25-27). Hartford returns to Connecticut for a single game against local rival Central Connecticut (March 1) before traveling to Western Kentucky for a three-game series (March 4-6). A stop at in-state foe UConn (March 8) rounds out its season-opening road trip.
 
Hartford opens its home schedule with a single game against Quinnipiac (March 15) before hosting Bryant (March 16).
 
The Hawks will also face in-state rivals Fairfield (March 29) and Sacred Heart (April 5) on the road before rematches at Quinnipiac (April 12) and at home against Central Connecticut (May 3) in non-conference play. Hartford also battles regional foe Marist, hosting the Red Foxes on March 23 before traveling to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on April 19. The Hawks then travel to face Rhode Island (April 6) and UMass (April 26) before returning to Fiondella Field to take on Northeastern (April 27) in 2022.
 
Hartford's conference slate features home series against UMBC (March 25-27), Stony Brook (April 1-3), UAlbany (April 22-24), UMass Lowell (May 13-15) and Maine (May 19-21). The Hawks will also have five conference road series, starting league play at reigning America East Champions NJIT (March 18-20), before traveling to Binghamton (April 8-10), UMass Lowell (April 15-17), Maine (April 29-May 1) and UAlbany (May 6-8).
 
 
The America East Tournament will be held at Maine and is scheduled for May 25-28.
