ORONO, Maine — The Hartford baseball team begins its quest for its second conference championship at the America East Baseball Championship on Wednesday. The sixth-seeded Hawks begin postseason action with a first-round game against reigning conference champions, No. 3 NJIT on Wednesday, May 25, at 2:30 p.m.
The six-team, double-elimination tournament will feature a winner's bracket and a loser's bracket, with the sole survivor from each side advancing to the title game on Saturday, May 28 at 1 p.m. If necessary, the second game will be played at 3:30 p.m.
