WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Hartford women's soccer team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. The 15-game slate includes seven home matches on Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.

The Hawks open the 2022 campaign at home for the first time since 2019, when they take on Stonehill on Friday, Aug. 19. The season debut is followed by another home game as Hartford welcomes Lafayette on Sunday, Aug. 21.
 
The two-game home stretch to open the season is followed by a four-game road trip for Hartford. The Hawks first travel to St. Francis Brooklyn on Aug. 25. From there, the Hawks kickoff September with a trip to Merrimack on Sept. 1, to face the Warriors. Hartford then visits Siena on Sept. 4, before rounding out its road trip with a game against the Highlanders of NJIT on Sept. 8.
 
After the first road trip of the season, the Hawks return to Al-Marzook field for a matchup against UMass Lowell on Sept. 11. Hartford then heads back on the road for a pair of road dates at Wesleyan (Sept. 17) and Franklin Pierce (Sept. 19), before welcoming Chicago State to West Hartford for two games on Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. 
 
The final month of the 2022 season continues with a trip to Burlington, Vt., to face the Vermont Catamounts on Oct. 5. After a 10-day hiatus, Hartford hosts Bryant on Oct. 16, before heading on the road for the final time in 2022 with a visit to UAlbany on Oct. 20. The Hawks 2022 season wraps up with a home match against AIC on Oct. 27. 
 
The Hawks, who are coming off an 8-4-4 season a year ago, return key players in rising juniors Imani Jenkins and Victoria Foster. Jenkins finished second on the team in scoring a year ago, tallying 15 points off six goals and three assists. Foster anchored a back line that recorded seven clean sheets.
