Eight University of Hartford soccer student-athletes were recently honored by the College Sports Communicators for their in the classroom.
Six women's soccer players and two men's soccer players earned Academic All-District honors. Three women's soccer players – senior
Imani Jenkins, senior
Christina Stone, and sophomore
Sejal Johnson – advanced to the national ballot.
Senior
May Cervone (3.80, Exercise Science), Jenkins (3.60, Biology), Johnson (3.77, Biology), sophomore
Lindsey Metcalfe (3.72, Photography), graduate
Ishani Sharma (3.92, Business Administration), and Stone (3.99, Psychology) are the women's soccer selections. They are the first All-District selections since 2018.
On the men's side, seniors Nathan Becher (3.89, Mechanical Engineering) and
Alex Quinones (3.53, Management) were the first men's soccer selections since 2018.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
