Eleven single-season records fell as the University of Hartford women's lacrosse team had its best season ever in the program's brief history.
Coming into the season, the Hawks had managed two wins total – both over Delaware State – in the four-year era. They managed six wins in 11 games in the 2023 season.
"This season, we took leaps forward as a young program," said first-year head coach
Jen Nardi. "With a record of 6-5, we have defied expectations, surpassed our own limitations, and laid the foundation for a promising future. I am proud not only of our wins, but of the incredible effort and dedication exhibited by every player. We have embraced the challenges, learned from our defeats, and grown stronger as a team. This is just the beginning of our story—a story that will be defined by resilience, passion, and an unyielding belief in our potential. As we look ahead, excitement fills the air. Together, we will continue to develop, evolve, and push boundaries, shaping this young program into a force to be reckoned with."
