BOSTON, Mass. - The Hartford women's indoor track & field team competed in Boston for the second-straight week participating in the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletics Center in the Reggie Open.
Top Results:
- Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) finished in first place in both throwing events with a length of 14.67 meters in the weight throw while also tossing 11.36 meters in the shotput. DiPasquale moved up in the top tens after her performance now sitting third in program history in the weight throw, before sitting in fourth in shotput after Friday.
- Junior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) finished in second in the shotput event at 10.69 meters. She added a fourth place finish in the weight throw at 13.29 meters good for 5th best in program history.
- Freshman Ella Stephenson (Ledyard, Conn.) picked up a victory in the 500 meter run at a time of 1:27.28. She was followed by sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) at a time of 1:27.49.
- Senior Cali Leonard (Boston, Mass.) placed second in the 60 meter hurdle event at a time of 9.25.
- Sophomore Amelia King (Scranton, Pa.) picked up a top three performance in the 3000 meter run at a time of 11:58.07 good for third place.
- Junior Mariah Nichols (Barton, N.Y.) rounded out the top results coming in 6th in the triple jump at 9.68 meters.
