WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its player of the week awards, in which junior midfielder Austin Murawski (Rocky Hill, Conn.) was named as the Offensive Player of the Week. Murawski has become quite familiar with the award in his tenure with the Hawks, as he took it home in back-to-back weeks during his 2024 campaign.
Last week for the Hawks, Murawski tossed his team on his back offensively sending home 3 out of the Hawks 5 goals in their three matchups. Murawski's dominance started against the University of New England where he fired 5 shots, sending two of the home for goals in route to a 3-2 road victory, Murawski continued the onslaught as he netted the decisive goal in a heated 1-0 victory at home against cross-town opponent Trinity College. After this week, Murawski has tallied four goals and 11 points on the year.
Murawski looks to lead his Hawks to another victory next time to out to take the win streak to four as Hartford faces off against CNE opponent Johnson and Whales College in Providence, RI at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14th.
