WEST HARTFORD, CONN. - On Monday, Hartford Men's Lacrosse head coach Ryan Martin announced Nick DiDomizio and Aidan Ezra as the program's team captains for the 2026 season.

These two young men exemplify the spirit, commitment, and resilience that define what it means to be a Hawk.  Their relentless work ethic, leadership example, and ability to elevate the players around them make a powerful impact both on and off the field.  We are fortunate to have players that not only embrace the standard but raise it."

DiDomizio enters his second season as a team captain in 2026. Nick started all 17 games for the Hawks in 2025, he concluded the year with one goal, one assist, 33 ground balls, and 15 caused turnovers. DiDomizio earned Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference Second Team honors, was named to the All-Hawk Team, and received the Edward Weinswig Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. He also earned the CNE Elite 20 Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA in Exercise Science. Nick was also a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection and a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-American in 2025. 

Ezra started all 17 games for the Hawks during his sophomore season. He concluded the year with 28 goals, 19 assists, 10 ground balls, and one game-winning goal. Aidan's standout performances included scoring a hat trick on April 12th against the University of New England and recording a season-high five points (two goals, three assists) on April 19th in a 13-11 victory over Curry College. He was later named to the CNE All-Conference Second Team and the 2025 All-Hawk Team.

The Hawks men's lacrosse program finished 2025 with a 10-7 overall record and a 6-2 conference record. Hartford would make it to the CNE Semifinals after defeating the University of New England by a 12-5 final on April 26th, before falling to Wentworth Institute of Technology on April 30th. 

The 2026 schedule has yet to be released.
