STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Hartford women's indoor track & field team took on some steep competition on Friday in the Ocean Breeze Fasttrack National Invitational in Staten Island, New York.
Top Results:
- Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) continues to improve this season in the shot put event moving into second in program history hitting 11.82 meters. DiPasquale finished the event in 7th place, closely followed by junior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) who came in 12th at 11.16 meters good for 8th in program history. DiPasquale and Majett would add 19th and 20th place finishes in the weight throw at 13.74 and 13.68 meters respectfully.
- Senior Cali Leonard (Boston, Mass.) placed in 14th in the 60 meter hurdles at a time of 9.38 seconds.
- Junior Mariah Nichols (Barton, N.Y.) came in 25th in the triple jump event at 9.73 meters.
- In the open events freshman Gabby Padmore (North Babylon, N.Y.) finished in 17th in the 60 meter dash at 8.42 seconds.
