LOWELL, Mass. - On Saturday the University of Hartford women's indoor track & field team traveled to Umass Lowell for this Umass Lowell Invitational.

Junior Tommie Barker (Canton, Conn.) took first in the Women's Hammer Throw posting a personal best 42.19m toss. Junior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, NJ) placed fourth with a personal best 39.69m.

In the Women's Discus Throw Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) finished first with a throw of 33.12m.Â

In Women's Shot Put Madison DiPasquale took home first place and set the school record with a 11.70m toss. Junior Yovanna Cruz (Stratford, Conn.) took fourth place with a 10.52m hurl.Â
- For Women's 100 Meter Hurdles Senior Cali Leonard (Boston, MA) placed first with a 15.22 second time. Tamara Greene took home third with a 16.09 time.
- In High Jump sophomore Jordan Murphy snagged second place with a 1.55m jump.

"Outdoor in New England always brings an interesting experience, especially these early meets", said Head Coach Conner Green. "Rain, sleet and some snow certainly made for a memorable meet, but so did the great performances and efforts put out there by our teams. I'm thrilled with how we started the outdoor season and am looking forward to being at home next year for our first ever home meet!"
