Hawks Compete in NEICAAA All-New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - The Hawks Women's Indoor Track & Field placed 17th overall in the NEICAAA All New England Championships this weekend.

Top Results:

  • Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) placed seventh overall with two points  throwing the shot put an impressive 11.60m.
  • Sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) cleared 1.64m in the high jump event earning 1.5 points and nabbing seventh place.
  • The Hawks were one of only two teams to have four qualifiers in the women's 60m hurdles this weekend.
 

Post Meet Press:
"It was an great showing by both teams," said Head Coach Connor Green. "After competing so well last weekend at D3 New England coming into this meet, we had the goal of just getting out there and competing well against some really high caliber teams. It's been a long indoor season and I'm thrilled with the growth of this program since December. There's plenty of work to still be done onto outdoor!"

 

Up Next:
The Hawks women's track and field team have concluded their indoor season with this competition and head into their outdoor season Saturday March 29th to compete in the UMass Lowell Invitational.
