NEW LONDON, Conn. - Over the past two day the Hawks women's track and field team competed in the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College. 

Rapid Recap:

• Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) made three top three finishes in the meet placing first in the discus throw at a 39.06 meter distance. The distance ranked #74 in division III this year. She added a 2nd place mark in the hammer throw (43.05 meters) and the shot put (11.37 meters) event. 
• Senior Cali Leonard (Boston, Mass.) ranks #20 in division III for the 100 meter hurdles event winning the event on Saturday at a time of 14.95 seconds. Sophomore Caroline Crocker (Bernardston, Mass.) was second in the event at a time of 15.42 seconds. 
• Sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) won the heptathlon with a score of 4071 over the two days. 
• Junior Elizabeth White (Nashua, N.H.) came in sixth place in the 800 meter at a time of 2:33.88. 
• Junior Tommie Barker (Canton, Conn.) placed in third in the shot put at a distance of 11.19 meters. Freshman Weeko Thompson (Hopkinton, R.I.) added a second place finish in discus throw at a distance of 35.22 meters.

The Hawks will compete next on April 19th at the Trinity College Invitational.
