WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Sunday, the Hartford women's track & field team had their first home meet hosting the rage in the cage invitational at Grant Family Track & Field. The Hawks finished in second place as a team with 171 points.

- Junior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) had a great showing coming in first place in the shot put at 11.29 meters, while coming in second in the discus ar 37.31 meters.
- Senior Cali Leonard (Boston, Mass.) finished in first in the 100 meter hurdles at a time of 15.06. Freshman Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) followed at a time of 15.48 for 8th all time in Hartford history.
- Sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) placed in second in the high jump at a height of 1.63 meters.
- Junior Elizabeth White (Nashua, N.H.) added a first place finish in the 1500 meters at a time of 5:07.36. Sophomore Annie Gilman (Lowell, Mass.) added a first place finish in the 3,000 meter at a time of 11:30.72.
- The University New Haven won the first ever Rage in the Cage Invitational with 204 points.
- Prior to the meet the Hawks honored the seniors on the team including Leonard and senior Ladelle Hazen (Blue Hill, Neb.).

The Hawks will compete on Friday and Saturday in the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.
