Olmstead Named to All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Conn. - On Wednesday, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its Women's Lacrosse All-ECAC Team and major award winners with sophomore Madison Olmstead (Wolcott, Conn.) being named. 

Olmstead was a star for the Hawks in her second season at Hartford posting a 104 point season with 73 goals and 31 assists. She also collected 50 draws, 21 grounders and 14 caused turnovers on the season. Madison was later named to the Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference First Team while also winning multiple CNE Offensive Player of the Week honors.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
