Ojert and DiDomizio Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Tuesday, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2025 Scholar All-Americans with graduate students Jake Ojert (Doylestown, Pa.) and senior Nick DiDomizio (Cheshire, Conn.) featured.

Ojert who also named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team last week appeared in 12 games for the Hawks during his graduate season and served as a team captain for the second straight year. Jake totaled 15 goals and 15 assists to finish with 30 points. He also collected 35 ground balls and caused six turnovers. Ojert opened the year with a hat trick on February 14th against Wheaton College. After missing time due to injury, he made a significant return on April 26th against the University of New England, contributing five points in a 12-5 playoff victory. He matched his career-high with three assists on April 30th in the CNE semifinal against Wentworth and was named CNE Offensive Player of the Week on April 1st.

DiDomizio who was recently announced as the University of Hartford's Nominee for the Division III Commissioners Association Male Student-Athlete of the Year Award, started all 17 games for the Hawks during his senior season and served as a team captain. He concluded the year with one goal, one assist, 33 ground balls, and 15 caused turnovers. One of his standout defensive performances came on March 15th against Salve Regina University, where he recorded six ground balls and four caused turnovers to help secure a 12–10 victory. He scored his first collegiate goal on April 20th in an 18-15 win over Roger Williams University. DiDomizio earned CNE All-Conference Second Team honors, was named to the All-Hawk Team, and received the Edward Weinswig Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. He also earned the CNE Elite 20 Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA in Exercise Science.

The USILA established the Scholar All-America program to recognize student-athletes from member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. A USILA Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale). He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field.
