MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - On Saturday, the University of Hartford women's indoor track & field team kicked off 2026 competing in the Wesleyan University Invitational in Middletown, Connecticut.
Rapid Recap:
- Junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) jumped back into things claiming a first place score in the high jump at a height of 1.60 meters.
- Senior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) added a first place finish in the shot put event hitting 12.68 meters which is a personal best by 0.23 meters.
- Sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) finished in first in the 60 meter hurdles at a time of 9.21. Junior Caroline Crocker (Bernardston, Mass.) followed in second at a time of 9.32 seconds. Crocker would also come in 2nd in the long jump at a 5.10 meter distance.
- Senior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) added a silver medal in the weight throw hitting a distance of 15.17 meters.
- Graduate student Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) came in third place in the pole vault at a mark of 2.60 meters.
