SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - On Saturday, the University of Hartford women's indoor track & field team competed in the Springfield Triangle Classic, hosted by Springfield College. The Hawks had a great showing on the day ending with two school records broken.

- Sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) broke the school record in the 60 meter hurdles coming in first place at a time of 9.06 seconds. The record was previously held by Cali Leonard at 9.08 seconds. Junior Caroline Crocker (Bernardston, Mass.) followed in second place at 9.11 seconds in the event.
- Senior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) broke the school record in women's shot put hitting a distance of 13.04 meters and 1st place. The record was held by Diana Kornberg from the 2008-09 season.
- Junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) continued her stellar year in the high jump placing in first clearing a height of 1.63 meters.
- Junior Leslie Samuel (Montauk, N.Y.) placed in second in the long jump at a distance of 5.16 meters.
- Freshman Jaya Pichay (South Windsor, Conn.) placed in third in the 200 meter dash at a time of 26.73.
- Senior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) closed the top three finishers on the day coming in third in the weight throw hitting a distance of 15.96 meters.
