BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its baseball weekly awards list with junior Anthony Bubba (Jefferson, N.J.) being named the Pitcher of the Week.
Bubba shoved on the bump in a 2-0 Hawks victory versus Bowdoin College. The ace posted a final line score of seven innings pitched, a complete game due to the shortened contest, two hits, three walks, four strikeouts, and zero runs allowed.
Over the course of the season, Bubba has posted a 2.70 earned run average over the course of 13.1 innings pitched.
Hartford baseball continues action in Auburndale, Florida for the week, with three more match ups slated over the next three days.
