OCEANSIDE, N.Y. - The Hawks traveled to Long Island, to play in the Adelphi Panther Battle at the Bay. The Hawks would place 6th out of seven teams through two rounds of action. 

Rapid Recap:

• Senior Charlee Nagle (Cheshire, Conn.) would lead the way for Hartford coming in 17th place overall, with a 87 in round one, and an 86 in round two.
• Freshman Maris Branyan (Trumbull, Conn.) would come in 20th place overall, shooting a 89 in round one and an 87 in round two. 
• Freshman Lily Sprister (Rutland, Mass.) would come in 22nd place shooting a 90 in round one, and a 89 in round two.
• Sophomore Gabby DeBenedetto (Southbury, Conn.) would come in 23rd place with a 90 first and second round score. 
• Graduate student Tessa Susco (Plainville, Conn.) and junior Abigail Crabtree (Bellport, N.Y.) would tie for 25th place. 
• Freshman Leah Petruzzi (Southington, Conn.) would come in 31st place, shooting a 96 in the first round and 94 in the second round. 

Inside the Numbers:

• The Hawks would finish with nine birdies through round one and two. 
• Hartford would shoot a combined 132 over par. 
• Franklin Pierce University would take home first place, and Bentley's Isabel Gonzalez would take home first place on the tournament, with an overall score of 2 over par.
