BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its softball weekly honor roll with freshman Alina Weaver (Nazareth, Pa.) being named CNE Rookie of the Week.

Weaver tallied an impressive week at the plate, she average .571, collected one home run in the second game of the doubleheader match up against Suffolk University. Her performance on Saturday earned the Hawks the 8-2 win. In the four games played this week she totaled eight runs and three RBIs.

The Hartford Hawks compete next this Wednesday, April 22nd on their home field, as they take on Gordon College in a doubleheader with the first kicking off at 1:30 p.m.
