WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Hartford outdoor track and field team competed in its second to last meet of the season on Friday and Saturday as the Hawks try to secure a NCAA Nationals bid.
Women's Rapid Recap:
- Sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) claimed first place in the 100 meter hurdles crossing the finish line at 14.63 seconds.
- Senior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) earned 2nd place in the shot put event (12.37 meters) and 4th in the discus (40.78 meters).
- Freshman Emily Breau (Meriden, Conn.) placed in sixth in the 400 meter hurdles at a time of 1:06.11.
- Senior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) tossed in the hammer throw event a distance of 47.52 meters to earn 5th place in the event.
- Freshman Katy Kohlun (Meriden, Conn.) came in 8th in the javelin throw at a distance of 35.60 meters.
Men's Rapid Recap:
- Junior Chris Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) placed 1st in the long jump reaching a distance of 7.20 meters.
- Sophomore Aidan Lybarger (Burlington, Vt.) came in 4th in the discus event hitting 48.11 meters.
- Sophomore Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) placed in 16th in the 400 meter event at a time of 50.43 seconds.
