WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Wednesday, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2026 Division III All-Americans with graduate student
Nick DiDomizio (Cheshire, Conn.) being selected as a honorable mention team selection.
DiDomizio is the first Hawk to be named an USILA All-American since Dylan Protesto back in 2016 when Protesto was named to the 3rd Team.
DiDomizio had a stellar final year for Hartford in 2026 starting all 17 games and being recognized as a Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference 2nd Team choice. Nick, a two-year team captain ended the year with a team-high 24 caused turnovers to go with 22 ground balls with a lone goal in the CNE Quarterfinals. DiDomizio finishes his career ranked 4th in program history with 52 caused turnovers and is named to his second-consecutive second team honor. DiDomizio was also named the CNE Elite 21 Award Winner for having the highest GPA of any student-athlete competing in the postseason.
DiDomizio was also selected for the USILA North/South game on Friday, May 22nd at Randolph-Macon.
The Hawks ended the 2026 season with a record of 11-6 with a 7-2 CNE record falling in the CNE Semifinals.
