NEW ORLEANS, La. - On Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field All-Region teams were released with six Hawks named to the women's outdoor track & field mideast team.
In order to be named to the all-region team, the top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
The Hawks named to the all region team were freshman
Emily Breau (Meriden, Conn.) for 400M hurdles and heptathlon, senior
Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) for shotput and discus, sophomore
Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) for 100M hurdles, senior
Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) for hammer throw, junior
Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) for high jump and heptathlon, and graduate student
Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) for javelin.
