WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - This month the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame announced its 2025 Class featuring Hartford men's soccer alumni Junior Salmon.
Salmon who was named to the Hartford Athletics Hall of Fame in 1994, was one of the top attacking players in program history registering 120 points in his career as a Hawk. Junior scored 47 times with 26 assists to help him be named a two-time All-American and two-time All-New England selection. He was also named the Northeast 10 Player of the Year in 1981 and helped Hartford win the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship in 1979.
The Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame induction dinner will take place on March 1st in the DoubleTree Hotel in Bristol. For more information on dinner tickets and the event use this link.
Other member of the 2025 class include Andre Blake, Roy Gurnon, Tom Lang, James O'Brien, Catherine Shankweiler, Hank Steinbrecher, and Tiffany Weimer.
