BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly report with sophomore
Ben Costanzo (Chester, Conn.) being named the men's lacrosse specialist of the week.
Costanzo went 31-41 from the face off circle for the Hawks in a 2-0 week with 17 grounders and an assist. Ben started the week with a 16-21 performance with an assist and nine ground balls in a 15-4 victory over Marymount University. Costanzo added a 15-20 day with eight more grounders in a 11-6 win over the University of Saint Joseph.
Costanzo and the Hawks start conference play this week taking on Roger Williams on Wednesday in Bristol, Rhode Island before returning home Saturday against Endicott College.
