WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - This afternoon, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's At Large Academic All-District teams were announced with senior Nick DiDomizio (Cheshire, Conn.) featured.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® and Academic All-District® Teams program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. To be considered for inclusion on the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® Men's Lacrosse Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in at least 90 percent of the institution's contests or started in at least 66 percent of those contests.
The senior defenseman, Nick DiDomizio started all 17 games for the Hawks during his senior season and served as a team captain. He finished the year with one goal, one assist, 33 ground balls, and 15 caused turnovers. His performances earned him a spot on the CNE Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Second Team and earned the CNE Elite 20 Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
