AT HARTFORD
2025: Santiago was the everyday designated hitter for the Hawks during his graduate season, starting in all 41 games. Santiago led the team with a .411 batting average and a 1.120 OPS. He tallied 67 hits, including 12 doubles and a team-high nine home runs, while driving in 35 runs and scoring 32 times. His most offensively dominant game came on the road at Nicholas on April 22nd, where he recorded four hits and five runs batted in a 19-3 victory for the Hawks. His outstanding performance this season earned him a spot on the Conference of New England All-Conference Second Team, and the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team. He was later named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Jake ends his career ranked 5th in program history in career slugging percentage. 

2024: Santiago had 27 starts in his senior season and appeared in a total 27 games. Jake finished with a .452/.504/.798 (AVG/OBP/SLG), along with 24 runs scored, 18 doubles, three triples, and sailed four home-runs over the fence. In the field Santiago had 25 putouts, one assist, and one error to finish the season with a FLD% of .963.

2023: Santiago started in nine games in his junior season and appeared in a total 13 games. Jake finished the year with a .121/.293/.152 (AVG/OBP/SLG), five runs scored, one double, and one RBI. In the field Santiago had three putouts tallying a 1.0 FLD%.

2022: Santiago made 20 starts in his sophomore season appearing in a total 21 games. Jake ended the year with a .134/.237/.209 (AVG/OBP/SLG) along with 11 runs scored, four runs-batted-in and one home-run. 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Bristol Central High School. Santiago earned All-State and All-Conference honors as a junior.
